Account Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for adding value to clients’ businesses by providing sound, strategic day-to-day counsel on advertising and promotional matters. The role supports the growth of the Agency’s client base through the attraction and retention of clients.

Core Functions

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, clear guidance, timely updates, and delivery of work aligned to agreed timelines and objectives.
  • Provide informed guidance grounded in an understanding of digital platforms, visual communication, and market trends to keep client brands relevant and competitive.
  • Interpret and assess client briefs to ensure clear direction and alignment across creative, production, and media teams.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to plan and deliver campaigns across traditional, digital, and emerging media.
  • Evaluate creative work to ensure it meets the brief, aligns with campaign objectives, and maintains quality standards.
  • Assess media plans and strategies to ensure they support campaign objectives and deliver value.
  • Prioritise tasks across creative, production, and media teams based on timelines and strategic importance.
  • Monitor all stages of campaign development and execution to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all outputs.
  • Identify issues quickly and recommend practical, effective solutions.
  • Analyse campaign performance and connect results back to advertising objectives and client goals.
  • Prepare client correspondence, presentations, quotations, Purchase Orders, and reports as required.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and site visits for the Account Management team.
  • Develop and manage the execution of small projects on behalf of clients, ensuring objectives, budgets, and timelines are met.
  • Open and manage jobs on Silent Partner, ensuring all relevant information is accurately captured and maintained.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Economics, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related industry; experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret briefs, evaluate creative and media work, and make sound recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of campaign analytics and key performance indicators, with the ability to interpret results and communicate insights clearly.
  • Ability to use data and insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Tech-aware communicator who keeps pace with emerging digital platforms and formats, including evolving social and content trends (e.g. AR, VR, Social commerce, generative AI, CGI).
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to exercise sound judgment and initiative.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high standard of professionalism in client interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of enthusiasm, resilience, and commitment to delivering quality client service.
